🍆 Jeep Grand Cherokee Left Turn Signal Not Working
V8. 4WD. AUTOMATIC. 120,000 MILES. While driving the left turning signal stays on. Tried removing one of the relays but was told there is not one. Put relay back in but now other relays are clicking and back tail light is draining battery. I am thinking relay is bad after I removed from PCM. I do not have a diagram of the combination module
I have owned the Jeep since 2016. 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK Limited, 5.7 L; I am the second owner, full service records; Currently has 129k on the odometer; The issue occurred while on a roadtrip. I wound up driving about 200 miles with the signal the way it was (hand signals for right, holding the signal in left or right when not turning left).
I would first suspect the wiring coming out of the Hazard Switch to the Left turn signal, the Dark Green/Red wire on pin 7 of the Hazard Switch/Combination Flasher. At first, everything seemed to work fine, the turn signals worked and the hazards worked etc. But, then I went to turn right and my right signal stuck on and would not turn off. Previously, I was able to get the right signal to shut off by flipping the left signal on quickly or turning on the hazards momentarily.

I have one sitting in my parts bin. Been there for a few months now because I needed one and it was like $4 and I added it to another internet parts order.
No running lights on 3 different trailers have brake and directional but that's it. Check all fuses and relays. The brown wire at the factory trailer plug which is your running light wire. goes from plug to a relay in a side panel in the back. Any clue why there's no power to that brown wire. W.

Rear turn signal LEDs. Rear UK light set up. Rear reverse light LEDs. Front fog light LEDs. Front high beam LEDs.

I believe u need to remove the lower dash panel, its like 4 bolts if I remember correctly. They should have a diagram in the user manual in the glove box on the relays.
1999 Grand Cherokee. Left turn signal does not work at all. All of the 4 ways work except the left rear. I have replaced the left rear bulbs and replaced the entire tail light assembly. Still no good. I checked the voltage at the connector that goes into the tail light assembly-no voltage. I can't find a detailed wiring diagram on the web.
Once you take those out the top piece of the cover pops right of. You dont have to take the bottom piece out. The turn signal/multifunction switch is one part.there is a plug that pulls out and a small wire harness that you disconnect. There is one screw on the bottom that connects the switch to thr steering wheel.
The problem is that where the ground point is located does not share good contact with the chassis where the ground should be. The solution is simple: Make up a jumper wire with #10 gauge wire about 10″ long. On one end, crimp on a ¼" round wire terminal. On the other end, crimp on a 3/8″ round wire terminal.
Failure Date: 08/01/2016. Tl the contact owns a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the turn signals malfunctioned and the flasher relay lasted only six months to a year. The contact also stated the brake lights were malfunctioning and had a faulty design. The lights clipped into place and would not work on bumpy roads.
